Here are some fun lighthouse suncatchers made out of stained glass. These would look great in a bathroom, particularly if it has a nautical theme and does not need to be in direct sunlight to look good but can be hung in any window or even on a mirror. The lighthouse has been made out of opaque and clear glass, each piece of glass has been copper foiled and soldered together, wire detail has been added on the top lighthouse window and a ring has been attached for hanging purposes. I have six lighthouses in total – 3 with an opaque blue streaky glass at the bottom and 3 with two blue streaky glass (which looks turquoise) at the bottom – if you have a preference over which you would just let me know when making payment – i sure you will be please whichever one you receive. Each sun catcher is slightly different in size – the smallest being 11 cms x 17.5 cms and the largest being 11.5 cms x 20 cms. I will supply a good quality window hook so you can hang this in your window, please only use good quality hooks and avoid the small or cheaper variety as these will fall and your lighthouse might break. This is a faux stained acrylic-glass window. This is made on acrylic-glass, which looks just like glass, so you are able to hang this anywhere. You do not have to worry about the weight of the acrylic-glass. It is just as beautiful. The colors are just as spectacular as regular stained glass but the color doesn’t fade. The textures are beautiful too. You don’t have to worry about it falling down and shattering all over the place. Shipping is a lot less!!! It hangs by 2 clear suction cups, or you can get clear adhesive dots, so you don’t have to look at an ugly chain. My creations are hand painted, then cured for 7 days. It is not a film on the acrylic-glass. After it cures,the paint and the acrylic-glass become one. The measurement of this peice is 12 inches long and 10 inches wide. There is also a protective plastic film on the back of this window. You peel it off before you hang it in the window. I can custom make windows, all I need is a picture or a place to go on the internet to get the picture, then I can let you know if it can be done. I can do different sizes too.
