This two piece set features the small vertical line swirl of the Diana pattern made by Federal Glass between 1937-1941. The set includes the bread and butter plate and the cereal bowl. It would make a wonderful addition to a depression glass collection or as an addition to a retro kitchen. The bread and butter plate measures approximately 6 inches in diameter. The cereal bowl measures approximately 5 inches in diameter and stands approximately 2 inches tall. The set is in lovely vintage condition with no noticable chips or cracks. It has some wear/scratching as shown in the last photo. All items in our shop are vintage and have been used. We do our best to show or describe flaws, but please carefully review each picture before you buy. Please feel free to ask questions or request additional pictures. This gorgeous pitcher is without chips, cracks, or flaws. It is 6.75 inches tall and holds 16 fluid ounces with about an inch of head space. It would be a charming addition to any mid century or fancy tea party table setting as a water pitcher or for serving lemonade. About Federal Glass: Federal Glass was established in Columbus Ohio in 1900 by George and Robert J. Beatty, from the successful Beatty glass manufacturing family. By 1914 the Federal Glass catalog included a full range of pressed glass in imitation cut glass patterns and other fashion
able designs of that period. There were other glass manufacturers making some of the same patterns as Federal, both before and after 1914, including Kokomo Glass (which became Jenkins Glass) and the Co-operative Flint Glass Company of Beaver Falls. In addition to pressed glass tableware, Federal Glass produced a range of glass specifically intended to be used as packaging for grocery items.
