This is such an easy blanket to make! If you can knit and purl, you can make this blanket. The pattern creates a lovely texture that looks almost like a cable pattern, but rest assured, no cable techniques are used! It is simply made up of knit and purl stitches. The finished size of the blanket is approximately 140cm x 150cm (55 x 59 inches). The blanket is knitted in one piece, so circular needles are advised. You will need 10 skeins of 100g each to complete the blanket in this Aran weight yarn (100g = 170 meters). Most worsted weight yarns will give a similar end product (4 Medium). Gauge: 14 stitches and 20 rows = 10 cm in Faux Cable stitch Needle size: US 9 – 5.5 mm; US 10½ – 6.5 mm Total Yardage: 1750 – 1969 yards (1600 – 1800 m)
