This offering is for an antique set of six (6) Wm. Rogers \u0026 Son (International Silver) cocktail or seafood forks in the Oxford pattern, patented in 1901 and designed by Arthur G. Rogers. This pattern is one of the more collectible patterns of Victorian silver plate. The lovely scrolling details are very ornate, very beautiful. Each fork is about 6 1/8 inches long. Total weight is nearly 4 ounces. Marked on back: Wm Rogers \u0026 Son AA Condition: Pattern is brilliant, crisp and well defined. No metal loss that I can determine. Several forks have slight distortion of tines – please see photos. Two forks have minuscule black marks. They could possibly use more polishing. Pricing is reflective of the distortion of the tines. A beautiful set of ornate Victorian flatware to complement any buffet or dining experience. Great for appetizers, canapes and hors d’oeuvres as well.
