This is an anvil shaped holder, open salt or match safe made by Windsor Glass Co. in their EAPG ( Early American Pattern Glass ) Finecut pattern. Victorian era novelty circa 1880s. Has the open horn. Vintage Bowl Mid Victorian Pattern Glass Caramel Creme Collectible FREE SHIPPING This unusual mid 19th century bowl was made with opaque cream colored glass layered with translucent caramel colored glass. The pedestal and rim of the bowl are wavy, and finished with caramel glass. There are 6 textured ribs on the sides of the bowl in caramel glass alternating with vaguely floral designs outlined in tiny glass dots. It is 9 inches in diameter, 3 1/2 inches high and weighs a hefty 3 pounds 2 ounces. This vintage bowl is in excellent condition. The lines visible in the pictures are not cracks; they happened when the liquid glass was poured. There are small chips on two of the six feet that are hard to see and I could not get to show up in photographs, but they can be felt. Aside from that, I could find no damage. FREE and FAST SHIPPING!
