This geometric stained glass panel measures approximately 8.5”x14” and has 32 pieces of hand cut glass. Designed and handmade by me, in my home studio, this panel contains multiple textures of exquisite clear glass, including 5 pieces of iridescent glass and 4 bevels, incorporated into this panel. Each hand cut piece of glass is cut and ground to perfection, then using the Tiffany Method, the glass is wrapped in copper foil and soldered to form the panel. A black patina is applied and the panel is then waxed and buffed with Brazilian Carnauba Wax. The panel is framed using a strong Zinc Came and a black patina is applied. (3) hangers are soldered to the zinc panel which allows you to hang it vertically, or horizontally. Needle Nose pliers may be used to open up the chain links, in order to move the chain and hang the panel horizontally. Also, the chain can easily be separated with small needle nose pliers and the panel hung from the (2) chains, if desired. NOTE: The cup hooks included are designed to screw directly into wood. If going through sheet rock into a window frame, ceiling joist or stud, hooks with a longer thread will be required. Please do not attempt using suction cups or command strips, as it will not support the weight. MADE TO ORDER: Please allow 3-4 weeks for me to make this panel especially for you.
