This really lovely baby clothes pattern is Simplicity 1486 . This unprinted pattern from the 1940s will provide a pretty combination of dress and jacket for a new baby for cooler weather. There is a dress, a kimono jacket and a hat. All items can be trimmed with embroidery by using the accompanying transfer pattern. The peter pan collar piece is missing. The infant’s clothing feature embroidery trim, beading and lace edging. The kimono style jacket is not lined and all edges are bound with ribbon. The hat is gathered at the top and finished with a lace trimmed ruffle. The dress is gathered to the back yoke with button closing, is finished with puffed sleeves and trimmed with beading and lace edging. A transfer design pattern is including. Size: One Size for Infants Copyright: 1940s Envelop Condition: Good with tears at the top and down the sides and bumped corners. Pattern Condition: Very good, all pieces are unprinted and in good usable condition. One piece, for the peter pan collar, is missing.
