The Super Simple Smock Apron with Pockets Sewing Pattern is a recreation of an authentic 1960’s pattern. This is a PDF pattern. There is no physical product mailed to you. NO REFUNDS on digital download. INSTANT DOWNLOAD! Get it NOW! Print at home. This is a BEGINNER level pattern. A good project for someone who has NEVER sewn before! This vintage pattern is derived from a 1960 styled apron. A staple of every kitchen in the 60s. During this wave of the feminist movement, women started to reject aprons as symbols of women’s domesticity. Enter the smock or cobbler apron, a style traditionally worn by men in trades. A less feminine choice often embroidered in ironic or sarcastic statements. This is a traditional pull over style with huge pockets and can be trimmed in coordinating bias binding. THIS IS A PDF DOWNLOAD PATTERN Find the full instructions here One size fits plus size. No cut lines. http://www.vanzandtstudios.com/2018/10/17/plus-size-cross-back-apron-1x-4x I wanted a cross back apron. But it needs to be plus size and cute. I wanted it to fit. I’m not looking for an apron that barely makes it around I need it to fit like it was made for my chunky butt. So I made it myself. This apron is very forgiving in sizing while using little fabric. It has large side pockets that will fit your cell phone and a large front pocket that will fit everything else. I have made these instructions as a guideline and have included many pictures This is a fun easy sewing project with full detailed pictures for every step. Great for beginners and can be easily made in a day. It’s 30 inches across or a full 60 inches around. With the cross back it’s easy to make it larger or tighter if needed. It is a very forgiving design. From the top of the shoulders to the bottom of the front is 40 inches long. I’m 5’6\
