It features ruffles which are sewn into the princess seam and fall beautifully over the sleeveless bodice. The ruffles can be finished with self fabric binding or for an edgy look left with a frayed edge. The Sienna Shift dress is an A-line dress with a round neck, princess seams and empire waistline which gives it a flattering fit over the bustline. It features ruffles which are sewn into the princess seams. It is a mini length dress sitting mid thigh but can be shortened or lengthened easily at the hem line. Skills required for this pattern include inserting a zipper and sewing bias binding which make it a perfect sewing project for the advanced beginner/intermediate sewer.
