DESIGNER’S NOTES\
Knitting
Knitting pattern feather scarf, cable knit scarf tutorial, knit pattern Aran scarf winter quill shawl, intermediate knitting pattern plume *******************THIS IS A KNITTING PATTERN*************** Pattern Level: Intermediate Are you ready to knit this beautiful feather cable scarf with 6 feathers on it? Size: approx. 17 x 170 cm / 6.7 x 67 inch Needles: US size 8, UK size 6 (= 5 mm) and a cable needle Yarn for needle US 8 and UK 6 = 10 ply, Aran, worsted, approx. 165 grams (= 300 meters or 328 yds) Gauge: = 18 stitches and 20.5 row = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inch. This scarf is the perfect example of how you can take knit stitches and craft them into something unique and interesting. The stitches used for these Feathers are for intermediate knitters. The back of the scarf is as beautiful as the front (see photo 5) Some knowledge of the following would help in making this scarf: basic knit stitches, cable knitting, knitting stitches together, increasing and decreasing and slipstitches. I recommend blocking the scarf after knitting to even out all the bumps and gaps between the stitches, to produce a very even and neat fabric. After payment is received the written pattern (in English and Dutch) will be available immediately.
