If you prefer an oversized coat, go up one size. Special considerations have been taken to finishing the seams, especially the bulky underarm seams. Pattern details out different seam finishing methods, including a binding option that allows the coat to be reversible. To make your coat reversible, you can choose to make either view. The pattern will indicate how to bind the inner seams for a clean finish without adding extra bulk. Pay attention to which pattern piece the binding gets sewn to in order to nest seams.
