Skirt Sewing Patterns Collection | Pencil, Circle (full and half), Flared, Gored, A-line, Pleated
A set of 6 print-at-home digital PDF skirt pattern blocks, perfect for mixing and matching to create your own clothing or cosplay designs. These blocks offer a great base to start from. Patterns included: – Pencil, – Circle (full and half) – Flared – Gored – A-line – Pleated (box and knife) This pattern comes in one size, approximately US women’s 10/Medium, specifically sized for the following model dimensions: Waist: 29in Hips: 41in Inseam: 32in I recommend creating a mock-up in a similar material to test the fit and make needed adjustments. There are many ways to resize patterns, for more information on various methods check out my write up: http://randomtuesday.com/resize The pattern includes written notes on construction and materials, it is assumed that you have at least basic knowledge of sewing and garment construction. All pattern pieces are drawn without seam allowance, so you can choose your own preferred allowance, the instructions will note if a seam allowance is not needed. These are patterns for basic blocks only, they do not include additional embellishments like linings. I do my best to make these instructions accessible and informative but they are not as detailed as more traditional commercial patterns. If you are stuck or confused about any part of the construction please send me a message and I will do my best to help you! Pattern includes printable PDF files pre-tiled options for printing on A4 or US letter paper, that can be printed on a normal home printer and then taped together to make the full image. It also includes full-size images to print on your preferred size paper. The pattern comes as a .zip file, you will need to extract the file before printing. Mac and PC can do this natively, for mobile you may need an external app. This pattern is for personal use only. You are more than welcome to use it for your own projects or for making commissions! However, redistribution or commercial use is prohibited.
PDF Sewing Pattern, Clara Skirt Pattern, Accessible Patterns, Accessible Fashion, Pencil Skirt, zipper opening
The Clara Skirt is made with style and accessibility in mind. Accessible fashion means offering styles that can work for specific needs or sizes, while also working for those without those specific needs. Everyone should be able to feel good, look good, and have functionality in their wardrobe! The Clara Skirt is one of several accessible patterns we offer. How are we offering access for different needs in this pattern? – The front of the skirt opens fully, allowing for getting it on and off while seated. – The instructions are included for using snaps, zippers, or velcro for the opening depending on your dexterity needs and style preference! – The skirt is fitted enough to avoid excess fabric that could get caught in a wheelchair without restricting mobility. – The side seams sit slightly forward of the natural side of the body, shifting them away from areas that could cause chafing or abrasion while seated. – The pockets sit on the thigh, making them perfect for seated use. – The back rise sits slightly higher on the body so it provides comfort and coverage while seated, but still looks great standin
g as well. This pattern gives the option of mini, knee, or calf lengths; as well as mid rise or high rise options. This PDF pattern includes: – Clara Skirt pattern in sizes XXS – 4X, formatted to print on US Letter of A4 format paper – Large format A0 size file for copy shop printing – Layers so you can print just the size you need, no ink wasted! – Full instructions, including diagrams This pattern made for fabrics with at least 40% stretch across the grain. Perfect for adventurous beginner sewing level and above. ****This listing is for a digital PDF sewing pattern only, no physical items will be sent****

Based on our beloved Doris skirt for kids, in designing the Doris skirt for adults, we’ve stayed true to Doris fun, flirty signature style – a high-waisted cross over waistband \u0026 diagonal side seam. The Doris skirt is an incredible easy sew and true wardrobe staple – dress up for a girls night out, go business casual for work or head to the beach! Doris doesn’t compromise on style or comfort – in fact, Doris makes for an amazing comfortable maternity skirt! The Doris skirt is designed to be pulled on over the hips, with a comfortably body hugging fit. The short and knee length versions have a straight fit. The midi length skirt has a pencil skirt fit, with the side seams tapering inwards, creating a flattering look for all shapes and sizes! For the midi pencil skirt version, we’ve added an optional \

In this tutorial I am going to show you how to make a pencil skirt pattern, what is a good fit for a pencil skirt, what fitting problems you may have with a DIY pencil skirt and why you may have them, how to take proper measurements for a pencil skirt and how to make a pencil skirt sloper pattern from scratch (for real people). If you like sewing clothes, it really important to have a good pencil skirt sloper – a custom-fitted, basic pattern which you can redesign and create many different styles of skirts, also you can use it to sew dresses.
