Hi there, Amanda from @broadclothstudio here! I love math, I really do. And I really love “quilt math”: figuring out the most efficient way to cut out all my patchwork pieces is like a fun puzzle to me! Being more immersed in the world of sewing and creativity I started to see quilted coats popping up. But not just coats that are quilted, but rather coats made from pre-existing quilts. I love the idea of bringing a piece of heritage, thoughtfulness and hand-crafting into everyday wear. Not the mention the fact that you’d be wearing a blanket so that has to be pretty comfortable.
