This Easy Simple step-by-step, row-by-row, stitch – by- stitch pattern is perfect for a novice knitter. If you think ALL you can manage is a scarf – you can knit this dress using the pattern I wrote. This little doll’s dress features my version of faux box pleats and short puff sleeve as well as some “rice” stitch. Best made in natural fiber yarn that could be steamed or similarly blocked as there type of pleats when created in a small doll size tend to roll and cling to body as similar ribing would. So to keep the skirt shaped in a pretty A-line shaping / steaming is recommended. This lovely dress is knitted using my pat
