March Socks Knitting Pattern – PDF instant digital download
****this listing is for my March Socks Knitting PATTERN only**** Intricate, cable detailing is one of my absolute favorite design elements. Once completed, they look so complex and advanced but row by row, they are quite simple. For the March Socks, I drew inspiration from the traveling intricacy of Celtic cable designs to create something modern and unique. These socks are constructed one at a time from the toe, up. Heel is shaped using short rows. If you are familiar with other sock techniques or have a favorite heel construction, you may substitute. Cable instructions are given in both written and charted formats. All of the cables in this pattern are 1×1 and 2×1 cables. This means that it is possible to work them without using a cable needle. This pattern includes mens and womens sizes S-XL. S, (M, L, XL) Finished foot measurement (foot circumference): 7, (8, 9, 10)” Women’s sizing (approximate, based on US shoe sizes): 3-6, (6-9, 8-12, 12+) Men’s sizing (approximate, based on US shoe sizes): 6-8, (8.5-10, 10.5-12, 12.5-14) Help Choosing Size: The slipped stitches and cables make this sock slightly less stretchy than regular stockinette stitch socks. If you tend to be a tight knitter or wear socks a bit snug, you may want to size up. Alternatively, you can just pay careful attention not to pull the yarn behind the slipped stitches too snug. Because these socks have less stretch, they are made using different st counts for some sizes than some of my other sock patterns. For example, size S socks generally have 56 sts around. In this pattern, size S socks will have 60 sts around. Materials (not included): 100g (400-450 yards) Fingering weight yarn (shown in Emma’s Yarn Practically Perfect Sock in the color Kale) Size US 1 (2.25 mm) circular needle for Magic Loop Technique OR Double Pointed Needles Cable Needle Stitch Markers Tapestry needle to weave in ends Gauge: 32 stitches = 4” in stockinette stitch Skill Level: Intermediate + For this knitting pattern, you will need to know how to knit in the round, increase, work German Short rows, and knit cables. Some experience working cable charts is helpful but not required. This pattern is written for both Magic Loop and Double Pointed Needles This pattern is written in US English terminology using Craft Yarn Counsel standard terminology. Hand knit socks are a wonderful gift but can also be an intimidating project for beginners! With turning heels and shaping toes, there’s a lot of new techniques to master. But if you just learned to knit or are feeling more like an easy project, I’ve got the answer for you… tube socks!
Lucky Sunflower socks knitting pattern
Knitting pattern only This sock knitting pattern was inspired by my favourite late Summer flower, the sunflower. Appearing in August, it has been said if you pick a sunflower at sunset it will bring you good luck the next day. Maybe this luck occurs when wearing a pair of hand knitted sunflower socks too… These socks are knit from the cuff down with a 1 x 1 ribbed cuff, an eye of partridge heel-flap and gusset (alternative heels can be substituted) and have a section of colourwork on the leg and a section before the toe decreases. This pattern uses the magic loop circular needle method (but can be easily knit with dpns). This pattern has step by step English instructions with charts for the colourwork sections. There are two different stitch counts for the colourwork section on the leg. One for a small-medium size and one for large (or for high heel arches). The needle size is also chosen according to the size required and gauge for the colourwork section. Foot length is easily adjustable. Yarn required: Sample shown is knit in Size M for foot length Europe 39, US 8, UK 6 using: Main Colour: Schachenmayr Regia Premium Merino Yak in Gold Meliert 07504 approx 70g, 280m or 306yds Contrast Colour 1 (for flower): Regia Premium Merino Yak in Anthrazit meliert 07512 approx 15g, 60m or 65yds Contrast Colour 2 (for leaves): Yarnloveyarn in Cinderella, colourway Connifer approx. 5g, 20m or 21yds.

Slipper Pattern Just Two Needles/Knitting Pattern Slipper Socks/Instant PDF Download/Gift Idea/Beginner Knit DIY Size — EU 36-37, 38-39, 40-41 US 5.5–10.5 Pattern is written in English Yarn – Chunky The best thing about these slipper socks is that they are knitted using regular needles (6mm) rather than the usual 5 double pointed needles, which I find too fiddly. Knitted in seed stitch, which gives them great definition, these slippers are a breeze to make and would make the perfect Christmas present for your family! Cosy and snug, they would look great in any shade. If you pick this pattern, I would love to see pics of the finished slippers! Happy knitting 🙂 Instant-download digital pattern PDF file PDF includes instructions + recommended materials Written in English, incl. metric and US dimensions Skill level: Beginner The Pattern PDF is available for instant download upon payment.
