The wide brim measures approximately 3.5 inches after felting and the regular brim measures approximately 2.75 inches after felting. This pattern also includes information on felting hats, recommendations for yarns to use, and measurements for making a twisted cord to decorate your hat. You can make some amazingly beautiful hats with combining different color yarns and combining a solid yarn with a colorway. Materials: U. S. Size 11 24-inch circular needles and dpns 1 stitch marker Extra wide brim hat — approximately 600 yards worsted For regular brim hat – approximately 440 yards worsted For each twisted cord you need 20 yards of yarn. PATTERN INFO: – Gerry is 34 cm tall and Ziggy is 33 cm tall (standing). – The pattern is 12 pages and written in English, and includes 19 photos to help you make the toys. – All pieces are knitted flat (back and forth) on a pair of straight single-pointed knitting needles. – You will also need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, change colour at the end of a row to knit stripes, and sew seams.
