MULTIPLE POCKETS allow for organization9f o and easy access. • Center in and out pocket allows easy access to your cell phone; with the additional security of the button tab for when your phone is not in use. • Pleated back pocket gives additional room for bulky items like keys or sunglasses. • Secure zipper pouch holds your id and credit cards. • Behind the zipper pouch is an additional pocket to hold business cards or store perk cards. If you have always wanted to try to make a purse this is the pattern for you. It was designed as an introduction to purse sewing basics. Read through the entire pattern first to get the feel for the construction steps. I teach youth sewing classes and wanted to teach them something a little more sophisticated. This is a pattern to make this tote bag! This listing is for the paper pattern that will be mailed to your house. If you want a PDF, there is a separate listing for that in my shop. This is a great large tote that will fit a lot of things and go anywhere with you! I made the batik bag with scraps I had in my house…love it! I quilted the outer bag portion, but you can keep it very simple with straight line quilting. If you prefer you can use interfacing instead of quilting, you just need to purchase more interfacing.
