ThreadworX hand-dyed rainbow variegated embroidery thread. Bradley’s Balloons is (in my opinion) the best rainbow variegated embroidery floss on the market. It pairs perfectly with DMC embroidery floss; I made the bracelet in the last picture with this thread and black DMC floss. Size: – Choose from 20 yard skein, or 5 yard skein. The 20 yard skeins are shown in the pictures. These are one yard long pieces (not continuous like DMC skeins). The 20 yard skein will be 20 separate pieces of one yard each, and likewise the 5 yard skein is 5 separate pieces of one yard each. This is a PDF file pattern for making the Joyful Colors Friendship Bracelet. It contains an accurate picture of the pattern and a detailed step by step description with smaller pictures from first knot to last! The Joyful Colors bracelet is great for everybody who already has some experience making friendship bracelets and is familiar with the knots – this is a simple, Beginner Level bracelet. What you will need to make it (not included): – embroidery floss in 7 different colors – tape measure – scissors – safety pin – something to fix your bracelet to while working: a bandana that you can tie onto your leg, or a pillow The finished bracelet will be about 13.5 cm long (5.3 inch) without the braided parts, and 1.3 cm wide (0.5 inch). If you use different types of threads or mix them, the result can be slightly different. Also, please keep in mind that the final length largely depends on your knotting: if your knotting is looser, you’ll probably end up with a longer bracelet. After your purchase you will receive an e-mail with a link to download two PDF files immediately. One is the tutorial itself and the other one is called The Basics of Friendship Bracelet Making. In the latter one you can read about the different types of knots, little tricks, relevant copyright laws, and I teach you how to read the patterns. In the pattern PDF you will find the whole description with text and images. Based on the tutorial you can choose as many different color combinations as you want! Because this is a PDF file, you’ll need Adobe Reader or another PDF reader to view it. If you don’t already have one, you can download it for free.
