As you may know by now, I LOVE Vintage Items, and the character and stories behind each piece. DESCRIPTION: This was a great Estate Sale find. According to family members, these were brought from Thailand in the 70s and never used (see pics for original wooden case and wraps). Unique bronzeware flatware by skilled Thai craftsmen, perhaps better know as Siamese. Marked Nickel Bronze with a clover. Very solid and heavy pieces… with STUNNING craftsmanship. The Bronze tone is quite elegant, sophisticated and very versatile. Currently available are 15 different pieces, including a large serving spoon, small cheese knife, and a set of carving fork and knife. Available flatware pieces include 4 different forks; 2 different knives, and 5 different spoons; sold as 30 and 6 piece sets. In addition, a serving spoon, carving set, and cheese knife are also available and sold separately. 1. The *30-piece set (2 currently available) includes: 6-dinner forks; 6-salad forks; 6-dinner/steak knives; 6-soup spoons, and 6-dessert spoons. 2. 6-piece sets include: SPOONS: you may select between 6 bullion or ice cream; 6 demitasse, or 6 tea spoons. FORKS: you may select between 6 seafood, or 6 dessert forks. KNIVES: 6 butter knives. 3. Individual pieces: you may also select between a set of large carving knife and fork; large serving spoon, or small cheese knife.
