This is a tiny nativity scene for you to stitch up and use as you wish! It could be put on a Christmas card, sewn into a bookmark, framed for Christmas decor, put in a hoop to be used as an ornament for your tree, just be creative with it! You can see from the photos how small it is next to the embroidery floss and in my hand. I used 18 count aida cloth in white and the finished design only measured 7 x 4 cm (2 ¾ x 1 5/8 inches)! You will need to be careful to allow extra cloth around the edges to suit the way you choose to finish the piece. I think this would look beautiful stitched onto navy blue cloth too so it looks like the scene is at night time. The design is stitched in whole cross stitches and some back stitch details. I used 2 strands of embroidery floss for stitching, if you are stitching on a bigger count cloth, you may need to use more strands of embroidery floss. It is a very small design and you will find you only use a tiny amount of floss in each colour so I suggest you go ahead and use similar colours you may already have on hand rather than purchasing all the colours new and only using a tiny bit.
