Vests are back! You might love ’em, you might hate ’em….but you can’t get away from them! Sweater vests are making a comeback and I’m loving it! I wanted to design this sweater vest as simple as possible. It’s very easy and perfect for beginners. The very first date I went on with my husband….we actually dressed the same…..and WORE VESTS! 😂 Adorbs! #meanttobe Before we get into the pattern, I need to talk about this crazy soft chunky yarn. Biggo is the yarn you’ve always wanted! It’s a super soft blend of Superwash Merino and nylon in a bulky weight. Notes before you begin: Chain 2 at the beginning of each row does NOT count as the first DC in that row. The front and back panel are identical and worked up first, then seamed at the shoulders and sides. The ribbing around the arm and neck are worked up separately and attached to the vest I made a size small (shown in all pictures). Keep in mind this yarn will stretch with multiple wears, I would suggest sizing down.
