The technique used for the flip top is knitted right into the mitt. If you choose not to have the flip top, you can knit the mitts without. That means you are getting 2 patterns for one. Flip top mitts are sure to become a popular accessory which will be coveted by family and friends. They make a unique item for your craft / artisan booth during holiday season. Customers love to have options. The mitts are a fabulous way to use up leftover skeins from other knitting projects. You can knit the mitt and flip top in coordinating colors. A mitt set requires only 150 to 190 yards total depending on the size you select. This basic pattern is great for men and women and comes in four sizes.
