This textured blanket is worked all in one, using carefully placed increases and decreases to make a pattern of stems and leaves. It’s worked all in one, so there’s no sewing involved, and the unisex design makes it a good baby shower gift. Instructions are given for four sizes, approx. 51, 62, 73 or 84 cm (19, 24, 29 or 33”) square, with the yardage, stitches and repeats needed for the larger sizes in square brackets. You will need • 200 [300, 400, 500]g (612 [918, 1224, 1530] yards/560 [840, 1120, 1400] metres) of DK yarn • 1 pair 4mm needles, or circular needle for larger sizes • 1 tapestry needle to weave in ends of yarn All my patterns are my own original designs, based on over thirty years’ experience, and are not commercially produced.
