Rare Antique Haviland Limoges Pitcher And Bowl Set – Ewer And Bowl Set Part of a Chamber Set Gold Trimmed Moss Rose Pattern The Moss Rose Pattern Appears On Both Sides Of The Ewer And Inside The Bowl In Three Places This Is Truly A Beautiful And Rare Set Of Antique Haviland! There is an impressed H\u0026Co mark on the bottom of the ewer which dates this set to the late 1800’s. The large pitcher / ewer stands 12 inches high The bowl measures 14 3/4 inches across These Haviland Limoges pieces are in very good condition with no cracks, chips or crazing and with only minimal wear to the gold trim on the pitcher handle. There are some teeny pin sized dark spots inside the bowl from the making. Beautiful Antique 1926 Homer Laughlin Creamer, Gorgeous Medieval Rose Pattern, Gilt Detail – Farmhouse, French Country

This absolutely stunning antique piece was made by Homer Laughlin in 1926 in their East L
iverpool, Ohio factory. The piece has the most beautiful floral pattern, often called Medieval Rose, wonderful gilded detail and a fantastic shape. The fine quality of this piece is clear and it is in lovely vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There are some areas of crazing and staining and as is common with these older pieces there may be some areas where the gilt details and floral pattern show signs of wear, but it’s in pretty great condition considering its advanced age! The bottom is stamped Homer Laughlin H6L. The H is the month it was made (Aug) the 6 denotes the year it was made (1926) and the L is in reference to their Laughlin factory in East Liverpool, Ohio (as opposed to an N for their Newell factory in West Virginia). Homer Laughlin China Company established a small pottery plant (one of the first whiteware plants in the United States) in the early 1870s. Founded by two brothers, Homer and Shakespeare, it later became Laughlin Bros. In 1876 they received an award for the best whiteware on display at the Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia. In 1879, Shakespeare sold his interest to his brother Homer who ran the business for more than two decades until he eventually sold it to investors, when the second factory was opened in Newell, West Virginia. Homer Laughlin pieces are extremely high quality, beautiful, and wonderful to collect. Finding pieces of this age in such great condition are always a wonderful surprise! Measurements: 5.5\
