Ajax Design Patterns : Creating Web 2.0 Sites with Programming and Usability Patterns (Paperback)

Ajax Design Patterns : Creating Web 2.0 Sites with Programming and Usability Patterns (Paperback)

With sections on foundational technology patterns, programming patterns, functionality and usability patterns, and diagnosis/testing of Ajax applications, this guide focuses on delivering usability in the face of constraints. Ajax, or Asynchronous JavaScript and XML, exploded onto the scene in the spring of 2005 and remains the hottest story among web developers. With its rich combination of technologies, Ajax provides astrong foundation for creating interactive web applications with XML or JSON-based web services by using JavaScript in the browser to process the web server response. Ajax Design Patterns shows you best practices that can dramatically improve your web development projects. It investigates how others have successfully dealt with conflictingdesign principles in the past and then relays that information directly to you. The patterns outlined in the book fall into four categories: Foundational technology: Examines the raw technologies required for Ajax development Programming: Exposes techniques that developers have discovered to ensure their Ajax applications are maintainable Functionality and usability: Describes the types of user interfaces you’ll come across in Ajax applications, as well as the new types of functionality that Ajax makes possible Development: Explains the process being used to monitor, debug, and test Ajax applications Ajax Design Patterns will also get you up to speed with core Ajax technologies, such as XMLHttpRequest, the DOM, and JSON. Technical discussions are followed by code examples so you can see for yourself just what is-and isn’t-possible with Ajax. This handy reference will help you to produce high-quality Ajax architectures, streamline web application performance, and improve the userexperience. Michael Mahemoff holds a PhD in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the University of Melbourne, where his thesis was Design Reuse in Software Engineering and Human-Computer Interaction. He lives in London and consults on software development issues in banking, health care, and logistics. Michael Mahemoff’s Ajax Design Patterns is a truly comprehensive compendium of webapplication design expertise, centered around but not limited to Ajax techniques. Polished nuggets of design wisdom are supported by tutorials and real-world code examples resulting in a book thatserves not only as an intermediate to expert handbook but also as an extensive reference for building rich interactive web applications. –Brent Ashley, remote scripting pioneer Ajax, or Asynchronous JavaScript and XML, exploded onto the scene in the spring of 2005 and remains the hottest story among web developers. Skull leather pattern PDF – by Leatherhub

Skull leather pattern PDF - by Leatherhub

Hello and welcome to our shop! VIdeo tutorial https://youtu.be/eJyvVzFgtq0 – This is a digital pattern meant to aid you in creating a leather skull and candle holder as shown in the pictures. – The pattern comes in two sizes so when finished the small skull will be about 75 mm tall and the big one will be about 100 mm tall. The opening for the candle measures about 40 x 20 mm and it’s available only for the larger skull. In conclusion, if you need some great Halloween decorations then you shouldn’t look any further. – Some basic skills of working with vegetable tanned leather should be of help. The leather will need to be cased and modeled a bit. Having a swivel knife and being able to work with it to some extent would help you achieve a better look by simulating some cracks which are marked on the pattern. – You will need some vegetable tanned leather and the uglier the leather the better will the model come out if you use some Fiebing’s antique finish to highlight the cracks. We made the big model out of cleaner looking leather and the small one out of a piece of belly to aim for a grungy look. Actually you should have your way with it and try to be inventive, having fun is what you should get out of it after all. – Most of the project is put together using cross stitching so make sure you can reproduce it before buying. ⚠️ Note that you will not be able to use this file for CNC or laser cutting as it does not contain XML data. 💡You may print this pattern on any of the following paper types: US Letter, A4-A0, Legal and Ledger / Tabloid by selecting the US_Letter format from your printing options. 💡 To access your digital file(s), go to You \u003e Purchases and reviews and look for the order. To the right of the order, click Download Files. This goes to the Downloads page for all the files attached to your order. – You should handle this neatly but if you don’t, then I’m always in for a chat. I have quite a presence on our group and we’d love it if you’d like to be part of our community https://facebook.com/groups/leatherhub

Mum’s tote bag leather pattern PDF – by Leatherhub

Mum's tote bag leather pattern PDF - by Leatherhub

Hello and welcome to our shop! – Video tutorial https://youtu.be/hWV4iJ6ZlFU – This digital leather pattern is made out of a 14 page PDF template meant to guide you through creating a hand crafted leather tote bag as shown in the pictures. – The bag measures about 480 x 320 x 160 mm ( ~19 x 13 x 6 inches ) and has two pockets on the inside and two at the outside. – It closes using a zipper about 400 mm long ( ~15.7 inches ) and you should make sure you can produce one before buying this bag. – The straps use two rivets at each end ( eight in total ) for closing around the four 25 mm inner gauge D-rings needed for the project. – Some parts are stitched using cross stitching so make sure to hit a tutorial before attending this project. – You may use whatever tool you have at hand for punching out the stitching holes but should you happen to have access to a Craftool 3 mm punching chisel set, it would considerably lower the amount of work as the holes are spaced to suit using such tools. You may google ‘Tandy 88045-6’ for more information. This feature exists for a pattern only if it’s mentioned in the description and not for all the other patterns in our store.
