Sleeves and body are worked in the round from the bottom up. They are joined together to work the yoke and neckline in the round. Some knitters may find that they need a different needle size to achieve gauge in stranded colorwork.A larger needle size (Size C) is recommended in this case, as most knitters find their stranded colorwork knitting tighter than plain Stockinette stitch. For best results, swatch in both stitch patterns to determine if a larger needle size is necessary.YARNColor A: Approximately 695 (780, 835, 945, 1030, 1085) yd / 636 (713, 764, 864, 942, 992) m aran weight yarnColor B: Approximately 85 (95, 105, 115, 125, 135) yd / 78 (87, 96, 105, 114, 123) m aran weight yarn Color C: Approximately 70 (75, 80, 90, 100, 105) yd / 64 (69, 73, 82, 91, 96) m aran weight yarnShown in Ístex Léttlopi (100% Icelandic wool, 109 yd / 100 m per 50g skein) in the following colors:Color A: #1407 Pine Green HeatherColor B: #1406 Spring Green HeatherColor C: #0054 Ash Heather Language English Brand Independent Designer Designer Dianna Walla Craft Knitting Format Downloadable PDF Skill Level Intermediate Featured Product Ístex Lett Lopi – Pages 8 Yarn Weight Aran & WorstedSee Aran & Worsted Knitting YarnsSee Worsted Knitting PatternsSee Aran & Worsted Crochet YarnsSee Aran Crochet PatternsSee Aran & Worsted Yarns

This sweater combines classic Nordic motifs and construction with updated flattering shape. The yoke is both graphic and a bit subdued and there is no finishing or seams – once you bind off, you are done and done! The sweater is worked top down in the round so you can try it on as you work on it to ensure a good fit.YARN I recommend using Istex Lettlopi or Plotulopi – these yarns are light and warm and will wear well and are perfect for stranded color work. However, if you prefer softer options, any wool yarn that works up to gauge will be a great substitute.MC: 725(800, 875, 1000), (1150, 1250, 1350) yards CC: 95(125, 140, 155), (170, 185, 200) yardsSample shown in colors Ocean Blue, 9419(MC) and Ash Heather, 0054(CC) Language English Brand Independent Designer Designer Jenny Faifel Craft Knitting Format Downloadable PDF Skill Level Beginner Featured Product Jamieson’s Shetland Heather Yarn Weight Aran & WorstedSee Aran & Worsted Knitting YarnsSee Worsted Knitting PatternsSee Aran & Worsted Crochet YarnsSee Aran Crochet PatternsSee Aran & Worsted Yarns
