Knitting Pattern Felted Hipster Bags hand knit felted wool handbag tote purse two sizes women girls tutorial for fabric lining

Knitting Pattern Felted Hipster Bags hand knit felted wool handbag tote purse two sizes women girls tutorial for fabric lining

SAVE $1.00 ON THIS PATTERN, PURCHASE IT ON MY WEBSITE: www.lavenderhillknits.com Sweetwater Felted Hipster Bags Knitting Pattern by Lavender Hill Knits The Sweetwater Hipster Bag in two sizes – a large bag for teens/adults and a sweet little smaller size for girls. Both are great basic felted bags that you can wear anytime. The large size knits up quickly using two strands of worsted weight yarn held together, the child’s size uses one strand. Both are knit in the round and there is no seaming! Well, maybe one seam of 6 stitches if you make the bag with felted handles. You can embellish this bag with needle felting, embroidery, a crocheted flower, or a special pin. It also looks great with no embelishment, just use an interesting button as a focal point for your bag. The Sweetwater Hipster is such a fun bag to make and wear and because it knits up quickly you can make one in all your favorite colors!! **PDF Knitting Pattern*** You will be able to download the pattern once your payment is complete. You will receive a confirmation email from Etsy with instructions to download, or you can access the pattern anytime in the \

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A PDF KNITTING PATTERN. IT IS NOT THE KNITTED ITEM. THIS IS NOT THE KNITTED ITEM. THIS IS A PATTERN TO KNIT THE HAT. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. Pattern written in English only. Special for Limited Time – Purchase all four of my felting patterns for one price http://www.etsy.com/listing/220140783/four-of-my-felted-hat-patterns-205-flat?ref=shop_home_active_1 Pattern 203 Flat Brim Hat- Adult / Teen Size This hat pattern includes instructions for knitting and felting a flat brim hat and an extra wide flat brim hat. The wide brim measures approximately 3.5 inches after felting and the regular brim measures approximately 2.75 inches after felting. This pattern also includes information on felting hats, recommendations for yarns to use, and measurements for making a twisted cord to decorate your hat. You can make some amazingly beautiful hats with combining different color yarns and combining a solid yarn with a colorway. Materials: U. S. Size 11 24-inch circular needles and dpns 1 stitch marker Extra wide brim hat — approximately 600 yards worsted For regular brim hat – approximately 440 yards worsted For each twisted cord you need 20 yards of yarn. Purchase yarn that is felt-able. Do not use super wash or washable wool. For this specific pattern, I recommend 100% wool and not a wool combination. Optional – Hat Shaper from Hatshapers.com or other form to shape your hat. I like the Medium Plus Plus and the Large Classic Dome for most of my hats. If you would like to knit a felted hat using Lamb’s Pride worsted weight yarn, or a combination of wool and mohair, purchase my pattern specific to that yarn. That yarn felts entirely different from 100% wool and pattern adjustments are made to account for that difference. Measurements: The hat is knitted in one size fits many teens/adults. The drying form that you use will determine the finished size of your hat. Please read the Notes Section for more information. Gauge: Purchase a yarn that gives a gauge on the wrapper of approximately 20 stitches and 26 rows to a 4 inch by 4
inch gauge when knitted with U.S. Size 7 needles. Your unfelted gauge with double strand on U.S. Size 11 should approximate 12-14 stitches to 4 inches. Since the hat will be felted to size, an approximation will work.
