Loom Knitting PATTERNS : Scarf Rectangular Shawl Pattern EASY | Lacy Mock Mesh Stitch | Lace Stitch Includes Video Tutorial | Loomahat

This is a somewhat simple rectangular shawl pattern that only appears to be complicated. I believe even a beginner can easily handle the Mock Mesh Shawl pattern. With so many uses it is definitely worth the try. To make things even nicer it’s a one day, one skein, one loom pattern completed in one piece with the option to customize with fringe, tassels, beads or as I did or you can easily add some interesting charms. Lace Shawl – a loom knit pattern

Lace Shawl - a loom knit pattern

This lace shawl is loom knit as a flat panel on the yellow Knifty Knitter round loom using 38 pegs. The lace pattern is a little tricky, so I suggest that this pattern would work best for an intermediate loomer. The stitches used include a knit (flat knit or u-knit) stitch and a purl stitch. The pattern includes SSK and explains it completely. I used two strands of yarn held as one to knit the shawl pictured. However, one could also this with a single strand of yarn for a more light-weight wrap. I started out trying to create a pretty, yet warm, lace shawl. But when I had it laid out to dry after blocking it, it dawned on me that it could be used as a table runner too! This pattern is ready now for download as a PDF file. —Please note this listing is for a pattern and not a finished product!—
