SEW ALONG SEWING INSTRUCTIONS 👉 https://www.youtube.com/noelnovadiy SKILL LEVEL Skill level is subjective but to give you an idea I’d say advanced intermediate level. Experience in sewing and working with patterns is needed. If you are a beginner with basic understanding of sewing patterns, and you know your way around a sewing machine \u0026 serger (overlocker), then I encourage you to study my sew along tutorial. You can handle making this garment if you understand what I demonstrate. Make sure to sample the corset (without the skirt) to test the fit and to get sewing mistakes out of the way before making the final garment. Take your time with it and feel free to ask me for help or clarification.

This is a digital draft-at-home pattern for a stunning French evening/ ball gown from the 1950s. The off shoulder gown features a fitted bodice with wide puffed sleeves in contrasting halves. The narrow sheath form of the skirt is accentuated with a wide over skirt in contrasting fabric. This gown would be lovely in jewel silk taffeta for a formal evening look or in white satin as an amazing wedding dress. –you could also leave off the over-skirt and sleeves for a more streamlined, modern gown. Fabric: this pattern requires approximately 7 meters (about 7 3/4 yards). The original source material gave limited fabric requirements estimated for a 98 cm bust size. More or less may be required depending on the size you choose to draft. SIZING This is a pattern from a French pattern drafting system similar to the Lutterloh golden rule patterns. You will be able to draft a pattern to your exact size from the miniature pattern template and specially designed rul
ers. To draft any of these special patterns to doll, children, and adult sizes is easy. Rulers are included to draft the pattern as small as a 5 1/2\
