Rainbow of Stars Blanket Afghan Baby Blanket Crochet Pattern

Rainbow of Stars Blanket Afghan Baby Blanket Crochet Pattern

Please note: This listing is for the pdf pattern only and not the actual blanket. I have reworked this pattern to make it much easier and it is now only 6 rounds for each square and all with easy repeats! And another bonus – your squares should not need to be blocked when finished – win win!!! I hope you enjoy the new re-worked version of my pattern. (I have kept the original rounds in the pattern so you can choose which you prefer but I am sure you will agree that the new reworked version is so much more fun to make!). Here it is – my Rainbow of Stars Blanket Crochet Pattern. I set out on a journey when designing this blanket. I had an image in my head of exactly how I wanted it to look and I was not going to rest until I had achieved that image. And I am so pleased to say that this is exactly how I had envisaged it to be! The blanket design is inspired by my youngest star. He is in love with all things rainbow and stars at the moment – hence the colours and design. The finished blanket measures approximately 38 inches by 54 inches but you can, of course make this any size you wish by simply making fewer or more squares. I made the blanket in the photos using Stylecraft Special DK but it works equally as well in any weight yarn providing the same is used throughout. I would suggest that this pattern is for crocheters with intermediate skills. Both US and UK terminology patterns are included. Please ensure you check which one you are working from. The pattern includes many photos for any tricky parts but it is not a step by step photo tutorial, it is a written pattern and not a chart. The pattern is issued under my design name of Three Loops on the Hook – Crochet Designs by Helen McLean PLEASE NOTE – this listing is for the pdf crochet pattern only and not for the actual blanket. Sew Sew Baby is rebranding as Three Loops on the Hook. Copyright of all Sew Sew Baby and Three Loops on the Hook patterns are reserved to Helen McLean.

PLAID GRANNY in Grey / Blue FRAZADA GRANNY ESCOCESA en gris y celeste This is my third version of the PLAID GRANNY BLANKET. [Check here for: the First and the Second versions]. I just love this blanket. Classic. Cute. Easy to make. And I just love making granny squares. This one is also a small size blanket, especially made for a baby´s carriage. This time, I made it with 2 greys (pale and medium), and a shot of baby blue, with a white background. En esta occasion, usé dos colores de grises (claro y mediano), un toque de celeste, con un fondo blanco. I changed the border this time, making it in “mosaic style” (I think that is how it is called…). For those of you who like graphics, here is the basic idea of how this border is made: Para esta frazada, decidí hacer un borde diferente.
