Folkwear sewing pattern number 139 Vietnamese Ao Dai Pattern includes sizes X-Small, Small, Medium, Large and X-Large Pattern condition: Uncut, factory folded and complete with instructions. ~ Item for sale is a sewing pattern, not a finished garment ~ This easy-sew ensemble of flowing tunic over wide-legged pants is considered to be the traditional costume of Vietnam and has come to be firmly associated with the small Southeast Asian country. The Ao Dai is a costume that reflects the influences of Vietnam’s various rulers – China, Japan and France – in its Oriental styling and sumptuous silken fabrics. Perhaps that is why this very feminine fashion is so flattering, elegant and intriguing. The Tunic features front and back waist shaping darts, mandarin collar, front neckline/armhole opening, tapered long sleeves with elbow darts, and long free-hanging front and back panels. The Pants have an easy full-legged fit, left side zipper, and faced waistline for a clean, smooth fit.
